Food and nutrition Project
Throughout the year, we learn about food science, nutrition, and cooking. At every meeting, we also make delicious food to take home. Last year, we baked homemade 5-minute bread from scratch and whipped up almond macarons and fresh salsa. We also conducted a food science experiment with cookies, where everyone made a batch with a slight change to the original recipe, such as more brown sugar, melted butter, or double the amount of flour. At the end of each meeting, we eat well! Yum yum!
