Math literacy
The Math Literacy Project is in its 4th year of being offered this year. The plan is to learn about math operations, and logical reasoning applied to number sense and simple geometry, pattern recognition, pictorial and quantitative analysis using games, puzzles and manipulatives. Youth will work collaboratively to complete tasks and practice team work and sharing of ideas using math vocabulary.
This project is geared for our primary members, aged 8 years and older. Depending upon the child's age, interest, and math proficiency level, we could split the group into two groups so there is more freedom to set our pace. Contact Anshul at [email protected] for more details or to sign up.
